Lebanon - Charlie O. Garner, 84, died Tuesday morning at Witham Hospital in Lebanon, after a short illness. He was a life-long resident of Boone County and prominent farmer near Advance until his retirement six years ago, when he moved to Lebanon. Mr. Garner was a member of the Browns Valle3y Baptist Church. He was born Oct 17, 1877, the son of Elisha and Susan McIntire Garner. He was married Oct 6 ,1907, to Hazel English, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clara Lasley of New Richmond; two sons, Francis of near Thorntown and Earl of Indianapolis; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A son, Roy and three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery south of Shannonodale. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
